Chairman Jeff Kendrew

Jeff is a Managing Partner and the Chief Operations Officer of Brookfield Infrastructure Group Australia.

Jeff was previously Prime Infrastructure’s CEO from 2007 and Managing Director from 2009, prior to joining Brookfield Infrastructure Group in March 2010. Prior to joining Prime Infrastructure, Jeff was General Manager, Corporate Development for Powerco Limited, an electricity and gas distribution business in New Zealand, and also the General Manager of Operations for Wairarapa Electricity Limited, also in New Zealand.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from the University of Canterbury New Zealand, and MBA (Technology Management) from Deakin University. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Electrical Engineers, New Zealand.

 
 
 

Founder & Executive Director Terry Leckie

BE Civil, MIPENZ, AIMM, MAICD - 25 years experience.

Terry Leckie is an Australian leader in sustainable utility services.

Terry has more than 30 years experience in the water and now energy industries, working across Australia and New Zealand managing and overseeing multi-million dollar water infrastructure projects, including $AUD70 million wastewater infrastructure projects with Transfield/Montgomery Watson from 1999 to 2003. From 2003 to 2004, Terry was Alliance Board Member with Sydney Water and Brisbane Water, overseeing AUD$500 million in projects, and MWH Australia Managing Director, and before this time, MWH Director, Constructors Australia. 

An entrepreneur, industry leader, and international expert, Terry is leading a new approach to sustainable precinct infrastructure, including water, energy, telecommunications and mobility through the provision of local sustainable multi-utilities.

Terry is a voice of infrastructure disruption. He is leading critical new thinking around how cities can deliver 21st-century infrastructure that drives greater liveability, sustainability, resilience and productivity.

 
 
 

Director Cameron Evans

Cameron is the Chief Executive Officer of Enwave Australia.

Cameron holds a Masters of Business Administration (Executive), Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment, Masters of Engineering (Chemical) from the University of Sydney, and a Bachelor Engineering, (Environmental) Hons from the University of Newcastle.

Cameron was previously the General Manager, Strategy and Market Development – Zinfra Group; and has held former roles as General Manager Infrastructure (Roads and Water) with Broadspectrum (formerly Transfield Services), General Manager, Water Infrastructure - Broadspectrum, Executive Manager, Strategy and Development – Broadspectrum, and Business Development Manager – Veolia Group.

 
 
 

Director Murray Cook

Murray is the Vice President of Operations at Brookfield Infrastructure Group Australia.

Murray holds Bachelors of Laws and Commerce from Murdoch University (completing his Chartered Accounting qualification with the institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia) and a Graduate Diploma in Finance and Investment (FINSIA).

Murray Cook has spent over 20 years developing broad business experience in the resources and infrastructure sectors and is currently Vice President, Operations for Brookfield Infrastructure Group after 5 years at Brookfield Rail where his most recent role was as General Manager Finance and Corporate Development. Murray commenced his career with KPMG’s Taxation practice. Building on his finance experience, Murray subsequently held senior positions in operational, commercial and project areas at Alinta, WestNet Infrastructure Group and Fortescue Metals.

 
 
 

Director David McKewen

Since graduating from university, David has worked in a variety of roles across a range of industries, and more recently extensively in the areas of business start-ups, M&A/capital raising and technology development/commercialisation.

David was involved in the early days of Flow Systems, assisting with the initial capital raise and governance. Whilst most of his time is now spent working on businesses which he has an equity interest, when requested he also assists a small number of other companies, both in New Zealand and offshore, in a hands-on executive role to undertake short-term projects.

David is fortunate to have worked at all company levels, including the governance role at the Board level and as Managing Director of a manufacturing and export company, which at its peak employed up to 180 staff. He also drove the establishment of the new motorsport park in Cromwell, Central Otago – now a world-leading motorsport and tourism complex.

He currently holds a number of directorships in private companies (including as Chair).

Chief Executive Officer, Stephen McKewen

Stephen has a global investment banking, structured finance and legal background. He has 28 years’ experience in senior positions for CSFB Group, Zurich Capital and Bluestone Group, covering transactional, risk management, funding, structuring, corporate finance. He has delivered Flow’s capital structuring and is influential in leading Flow Systems’ developer funding arrangements and legal agreements.

Financial Controller and Company Secretary, Steven Samowitz

Steven is an Australian Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of financial leadership experience. Trained at KPMG Middle Market Advisory Sydney and PWC Private Enterprise London UK, his focus is on high growth innovative industries. Steven has gained commercial experience in property funds management, hospitality and healthcare distribution businesses in the Asia Pacific region. Steven has extensive experience in financial reporting, treasury management, designing and implementing robust financial control environments and systems design. Steven ensures that Flow Systems’ finance team provides commercial financial intelligence to increase shareholder’s value.

 
 
 

Chief Operating Officer, Rob Gittins

Rob has extensive general management experience with deep skills across the full industry value chain from strategy, site acquisition, design, development, construction and sales & marketing, gained in Australasia and the UK. He has a passion for innovation, balanced with a strong focus on execution and has nearly 30 years’ experience in the property construction and development industry.

Executive Manager Development Solutions, Jamin Tappouras

Jamin is a highly experienced Property Developer with an extensive delivery record from rezoning, implementation and completion in both Greenfield and infill sectors. With over 20 years experience in the CSIRO, Estate Property Group, Johnson Property Group and Landcom, Jamin provides critical insight into solving infrastructure bottlenecks and developing better outcomes for developers.

 
 
 

Executive Manager Project Delivery, Darren Wharton

Darren has worked his whole career in infrastructure design and construction across water, sewer, power and transport. His qualifications in environmental engineering and geography and demonstrated enthusiasm delivering for utility, contractor and consultant reflect Darren’s passion for delivering commercially viable, technically feasible and environmentally sustainable utility infrastructure to the benefit of all. At Flow Systems, Darren leads a team of project managers and in-house designers to achieve all relevant approvals, design and construct utility infrastructure for handover to the Operations and Retail teams.

 
 
 

Executive Manager Retail, Candice Suttor

Candice has over 20 years’ experience in leading complex change management projects. Candice drives Flow’s unique multi-utility customer experience strategy including customer acquisition, retention, billing, collections, customer connections, 24/7 faults, and emergency response, community engagement and Key Account Management. Candice is also a member of the EWON operational advisory working group.  

 
 
 

Executive Manager Water Operations, Andrew Horton

Andrew has an unprecedented 30 years experience in building sustainable water and sewage systems. His 15 years in operations, technical and maintenance at Sydney Water and 16 years at United Group Infrastructure enable him to lead all technical and engineering operations for Flow Systems. He has constructed and managed Australia’s largest recycling water treatment plant at St Marys and Sydney Olympic Park Water Reclamation Plant and now the world’s largest MBR facility in the basement of a residential building - Central Park water.

 
 
 

Executive Manager Commercial & Legal, Mark Edler

Mark has over 16 years’ experience in successfully completing major transactions. As a lawyer with some of Australia’s highest profile companies, Mark has played an integral role in a broad range of strategic transactions, from capital raising, corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions to infrastructure development and operation.  Among Mark’s achievements is Australia’s first recycled water public-private partnership. Mark’s career includes roles at Arrium, Jemena, Alinta and AGL. As EM of Commercial & Legal, Mark is driven to bring Flow’s passion, ideas and expertise to bear in shaping tailored solutions for our stakeholders. 

 
 
 

Executive Manager Risk & Compliance, Kirsten Evans

Kirsten has over 15 years experience in risk and compliance management primarily. Kirsten was responsible for the design and implementation of the Flow Business Management System (BMS) which was certified to the international standards for quality, environment and safety management in 2015. Kirsten’s role is to provide assurance that Flow is effectively controlling risks and achieving compliance with the law, through the continual improvement of the BMS.
